G Orwell and W Golding Relation to Physicians, Physicist and Military Generals

The authors both wrote on societies with a lack of supervision. Talking about Orwell’s “Animal Farm” 1945 and Golding’s “Lord of the Flies” 1954.

The lack of the farmer at the farm and parents on the island is similar to the expression “when the cats away the mice will play”.
